SNAP Half-Term Children’s Activities
During the half-term break, SNAP supported over 120 children and families with a week of engaging, fun-filled activities delivered by our incredible team of volunteers.
Children took part in a wide range of sessions including yoga, karaoke, arts and crafts workshops, and games, creating positive experiences that encouraged creativity, confidence, and connection.
To ensure every child was supported throughout the day, we also provided healthy packed lunches and refreshments, helping families during the school holiday period while promoting wellbeing.
This programme offered a safe, welcoming space for children to play, learn, and thrive — and for families to come together as part of a supportive community. We are hugely grateful to our volunteers and partners who helped make this week such a success.
Outcomes & Impact
Through this programme, children and families experienced:
• Improved confidence and self-esteem
• Increased physical activity and emotional wellbeing
• Opportunities to build social skills and friendships
• Enhanced creativity and self-expression
• Reduced holiday pressure on families through access to healthy meals and refreshments
Most importantly, the week created a positive, inclusive environment where children felt safe, valued, and supported — helping families feel connected to their community.
