This week’s Wellness Thursday session was a great opportunity to enjoy both nature and mindful activities in the sunshine. The group began by feeding the meerkats, giving everyone the chance to offer them live bugs. This was an engaging and memorable experience, allowing participants to get up close, build confidence, and learn more about the animals’ natural behaviours.
Afterwards, we set off on a walk around the nature trail. Participants were able to take in the surroundings, enjoy the fresh air, and connect with nature.
Halfway through the walk, we stopped for a short mindfulness session. This activity supported emotional wellbeing and encouraged everyone to slow down and appreciate their environment. #5waystowellbeing #mentalhealthawareness #mentalwellbeing 💙❤️
