The women’s Flourish and Succeed charity challenge set off to a Fort William Scotland to climb the highest mountain in British isles – Ben Nevis. They arrived at 6:00 pm at their Hostel and bedded down for an Early night after 7 hour drive from Stockbridge Village. On Saturday the girls were up bright and early for a 7.30 am start to meet the 20 strong volunteers who were supporting them on this charity challenge. 50+ started the climb at 8:00 am. Weather at the start of the climb was pretty good but the higher they climbed the Fog started coming in. All 50 of the Flourish and Succeed people completed their charity challenge climbing Ben Nevis up and down in 7 hours. A Few sore hips, legs and bruised toes, but after 6 months of the Buffalo mindset fitness programs, each and everyone of them did themselves proud! Fantastic life experiences and fantastic memories were made!
The Flourish and Succeed CIC would like to thank the 20 volunteers for their help and support with the charity challenge climbing Ben Nevis! Without them theses events wouldn’t be possible. The volunteers camped at Glen Nevis camping site Fort William. Thank you all so much from all the ladies and the committee of the Flourish and Succeed!
