Sunday’s Community HAP-PEA-Soup hub kicked off today, hosted by Flourish & Succeed CIC volunteers . They provided hot meals, cold, hot refreshments, and a selection of desserts, with the Victoria sponge being particularly popular. Today’s menu featured bangers and mash with vegetables and onion gravy, or homemade Scouse served with crusty bread. It was heart-warming to see people come together in a warm and friendly environment to enjoy good food and good company.
