Stockbridge Village Community Festival 2026

Stockbridge Village Community Festival 2026 – A Celebration to Remember

Stockbridge Village Community Festival 2026 was a fantastic celebration of community, music, sport and local talent, bringing an estimated 2,000 people together for an unforgettable day at Pool Hey.

The festival was officially opened by Liverpool FC legend David Fairclough, alongside the brilliant St Luke’s Morris Dancers, who began the celebrations with a wonderful traditional performance.

Throughout the day, the main stage featured an exciting programme of live entertainment, including local singers, musicians, dancers and tribute acts. DJ Darren kept the music going throughout the event, creating a brilliant atmosphere for families and residents of all ages.

The festival also featured a girls’ friendly football tournament, with players, coaches and families from SV Galaxy helping to make it a fantastic showcase of teamwork, confidence and girls’ grassroots football.

Families enjoyed a wide range of activities, entertainment, community stalls, food vendors and opportunities to connect with local organisations. It was wonderful to see so many people coming together, catching up with neighbours and creating positive memories in the heart of Stockbridge Village.

An event of this size would not have been possible without the tremendous support of our volunteers, staff, performers, stallholders, football teams, security and medical teams. We would also like to thank Sarah, Jack and Amy from Knowsley Council, Sly from Knowsley Town Council, our sponsors, partners and everyone who contributed behind the scenes.

Months of planning, meetings, telephone calls and hard work went into delivering the festival. Seeing approximately 2,000 people attend and enjoy the day made every moment worthwhile.

Most importantly, we would like to thank the people of Stockbridge Village and the wider community for coming along, supporting the event and creating such a welcoming and positive atmosphere.

The festival demonstrated what can be achieved when residents, volunteers, community organisations and local partners work together.

    Together, we Flourish.
