Summer HAF Programme 2026
Our Summer HAF Programme provided local children and young people with a safe, welcoming and enjoyable place to spend their school holidays.
Delivered at Pool Hey Community Pavilion, the programme offered a wide range of activities, including sports, team games, arts and crafts, dance workshops, fancy-dress fun and opportunities to learn new skills. Children were encouraged to get involved, build confidence and resilience, make new friendships and enjoy being active.
During one week alone, 56 children attended and took part in the programme. Every day also included a healthy meal through our Good Food, Good Mood Club, helping children understand the importance of nutritious food and a healthy lifestyle.
Our experienced staff and volunteers created an inclusive environment where children of all abilities could participate, feel supported and enjoy themselves. The programme also provided valuable support to parents and carers during the summer holidays.
